Journalists and editors of the Internet portal \u00ab<\/a>Such Cases\u00bb\u00a0<\/a> (charity Fund \u00ab<\/a>Need help\u00bb\u00a0<\/a>) thought about tolerant vocabulary, and the result of these reflections was the tolerant dictionary \u00ab<\/a>We do not say so\u00bb\u00a0<\/a>. Author of the dictionary Maria Bobyleva<\/a>, journalist of the portal \u00abSuch Cases\u00bb\u00a0 stressed again\u00a0that the creation of the dictionary was dictated by the desire to introduce tolerant vocabulary. \u00abSex change surgery \u2013 what is it? Particular emphasis was placed on the section of the dictionary devoted to diseases and restrictions. According to the authors, it is not necessary to reduce a person to one characteristic \u2013 his disease, it is worth remembering that this is the only part of a person’s life: for example, not \u00abdown\u00bb\u00a0, but \u00aba person with down syndrome\u00bb\u00a0. The authors of the dictionary support the expert of the Center for curative pedagogics \u00abthe Special childhood\u00bb\u00a0, Ksenia Razen<\/a>: \u00abI think it’s important that… we are discussing many different specific words… this process reduces the anxiety [in society] and provides security\u00bb\u00a0.<\/p>\n

According to Zara Harutyunyan<\/a>, a psychologist, a specialist in working with victims of violence, the people who created this dictionary \u00abthink about how to intelligently express themselves\u00bb, and Ekaterina Messorosh<\/a>, a transgender woman, a transactivist of the initiative group T-Action believes that \u00abthe responsibility of public people is to introduce these words into circulation\u00bb\u00a0.<\/p>\n

And, by the way, about \u00abpsycologist\u00bb\u00a0: gradually the discussion began to move away from the dictionary to the problem of feminicides and their use in the Russian language. It turned out that the audience is keenly interested in the use of such words as \u00abauthoress\u00bb\u00a0, \u00abheadmistress\u00bb\u00a0, etc., although \u00ab\u0441ommunist\u00bb\u00a0 and \u00abweightlifter\u00bb\u00a0 sound quite comfortable.<\/p>\n

Does it turn out that the use of feminicides is a manifestation of selfishness? At the end of the discussion, many questions remained open. The desire not to stand out, to be \u00ablike everyone else\u00bb\u00a0 and to speak habitually has not disappeared, and society itself should decide whether to accept new expressions or stay with the same, and the dictionary will be improved and developed.
