A weekend in Moscow does not necessarily consists of expensive activities. These are several amazing weekend options that will cost you nothing.<\/span><\/p>\n

    In the \u201cOstankino\u201d broadcast center you can take part in the filming of various tv-shows: \u201cModny Prigovor\u201d(The Fashion Verdict), \u201cZhit\u2019 zdorovo\u201d(Life is beautiful), \u201cPust\u2019 govoryat\u201d(Let them speak) and others. As a part of the audience, you may be paid from 500 to 100o rub. Such experience will enable you to see the process of filming and, if you are lucky enough, get on the screen.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Taking part in the filming of the \u201cVecherny Urgant\u201d (The late-night show with Urgant) will not give you any money. In this case the audience is not just extras, they are the guests of the show. You will see Russian and international stars and will be given an opportunity to make a selfie with Ivan Urgant. Before\u00a0 filming and between takes the audience is entertained by the co-host Dmitry Hrustalev.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Send your request to the show\u2019s email if you want to see the film magic. In this request you are supposed to write your ID number (passport) and briefly explain why you are the one to be chosen. Announcements of the guests of the week and the rules of the show can be found in the <\/span>VK group.\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

Generally they are not writing about global events, but inform about small meetings and seminars. There are plenty of options on this website and everyone is able to find something appealing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    KudaGo<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Afisha.ru<\/span><\/a> work in the same way, but there you can find information about more grand events. These resources don\u2019t have a\u201cfree event\u201dfilter, so you have to search for them specifically.<\/span><\/p>\n

    In Moscow there are a number of museums that don\u2019t require visitors to pay at all. For example, \u201cBulgakov\u2019s house\u201d, the museum of metro and the museum of Russian icon. Other places have \u201cfree entrance\u201d days: every Wednesday for the \u201cArt of the 20-th century\u201d exhibition in the New building of Tretyakovskaya gallery, every friday from 17 to 21 pm for the Garage museum. However, you must register in advance if you want to go\u00a0 to Garage for free. Every Thursday at 19:00 25 free tickets are released.     State museums that are managed by the Moscow department of culture take part in the \u201cMoscow museum week\u201d. On every third week of the month around 80 museums open for a free entrance. Some of them are the GULAG museum, the Cosmonautics museum, the Marina Tsvetaeva house, \u201cNovyi Manezh\u201d, the Moscow museum of modern art.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Many museums don\u2019t charge students. You can visit the Vladimir Vysotski museum, Moscow united park-museum ( it includes Kolomenskoe, Izmailovo, Lublini). If you are a student, you can visit the Tretyakov gallery on the first and second Sunday of the month.<\/span><\/p>\n

    You don\u2019t need a lot of money to spend an unforgettable weekend. Additionally to the places mentioned above, there are also many parks and\u00a0 public spaces that do not require their visitors to pay.
