October 25, London hosted a ceremony of awarding the winners of the Booker Prize 2016 was awarded the Victory 54 year old black writer from California for his fourth novel, “Sales”.
The main idea of the book is ridiculing the American racial politics. According to experts, such a wit as the author of “sale”, they have not seen since the days of Jonathan Swift and Mark Twain. Despite fears of Paul Beatty that readers can not understand his work, the book has received high evaluation of the jury and caused an unprecedented boom. For a writer, it was a real surprise.

Booker Prize is one of the most prestigious awards in the English literary society. Some of its owners subsequently became laureates of the Nobel Prize for Literature. The first presentation was held in 1969. Initially, it could only get the citizens of one of the states of the Commonwealth of Nations, Ireland, or Zimbabwe. However, in 2013, the prize may be awarded to any published writer for Britain in a book written in English or translated into that language.
